Held the 1st Sunday of every month in Seattle at Westlake Park, 1:30 to 2pm and other locations. Contact IPJC for a toolkit to start a monthly vigil in your local community. Note - the next Seattle vigil will be January 8, 2012.

About Human Trafficking Awareness Day
In 2007 the U.S. Senate designated January 11th as a National Day of Human Trafficking Awareness in an effort to raise consciousness about this global, national and local issue. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, President Barack Obama proclaimed January as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
